Our Story

B-Line was founded by Kathryn and Franklin Racine-Jones – owners and delivery-drivers extraordinaire! The seed for B-Line was planted during a 10,000 mile, trans-Eurasian bike trip Franklin and Kathryn took nearly a decade ago when they saw all kinds of things being carried on bicycles by people around the globe (huge stacks of hay, buckets filled with fish, gaggles of geese, entire families....) Through other experiences – bicycle transportation planning with David Evans & Associates, teaching, directing a center for sustainability at a university – they came to the conclusion that the best way to weave together their passions and maximize the amount of time they get to hang out together was to create their very own business. Thus, B-Line, their tiny new company with a big heart and a grand vision was born!
